Camp Emmanuel is a rustic, rural campground offering rental sites for both R.V. and tent camping as well as the rental of bunk and private housekeeping cabins. All cabins have electricity, but housekeeping cabins also have air conditioning and small kitchen spaces. All camping options include use of the two camp bath houses.

When church camps are not in session (see our schedule on the main page), Camp Emmanuel is available for rent to the public for hosting reunions, weddings, picnics, retreats, and other special events. Camp facilities are open to Church of the Brethren events rent free.

The main lodge features a large commercial kitchen, a dining hall with seating for up to 70 people, and a spacious screened-in porch overlooking the lake. A simple chapel graces the top floor of the main lodge. There is also a large pavillion available.

Swimming, boating, and fishing in Lake Emmanuel is allowed with approval from the Camp Manager. The lake has crappie, bass, blue gill, and catfish. Boats may be rented (some are included in the rental of a cabin) through the Camp Manager. The boating or fishing fee is $5.00. Boaters are required to wear a life jacket at all times and no outside motor boats are allowed. There is no boat ramp. All persons swimming or boating in the lake do so at their own risk. Lake Emmanuel features a small beach and boat dock on the north side near the lodge. A lifeguard is required for any group wishing to swim in the lake - no exceptions. To arrange swimming, please contact the Camp Manager or Camp Board for rates and times (minimum 2 hours).

No pets are allowed on the main camp grounds. Leashed or caged pets are allowed at the tent and RV sites.

Camp Emmanuel is a tobacco-free and alcohol-free environment.

Rental Rates

Housekeeping Cabins
$50 per night for 1-4 people
$60 per night for 5-8 people
Includes use of 1 boat and restroom access at bath house.
No pets allowed

Bunk Cabins
$10 per night per adult
$5 per night per child (age 12 and under)
Includes restroom access at bath house, boats, and sports equipment.
No pets allowed

Tent Sites
$15 per night
Includes restroom access at bath house.
Pets allowed. Dogs must be on a leash.

RV Sites
$20 per night
Includes restroom access at bath house.
Pets allowed. Dogs must be on a leash.
Our RV sites are dry - no water/sewer.
Standard 110v outlets with a 30 amp RC connection.
The RV campground is shaded with fire rings and picnic tables available.

Outdoor Facilities
$65 per half day (4 hours)
$90 per full day (8 hours)
Includes use of chapel, porch, pavilion, boats, docks, and sports equipment.
Does not include use of kitchen or dining hall.
Firewood can be purchased from Camp Manager.
Includes restroom access at bath house.

Whole Camp Facilities
$100 per half day (4 hours)
$150 per full day (8 hours)
Includes use of chapel, porch, kitchen, dining hall, pavilion, boats, docks, playground, and sports equipment.
Includes restroom access at bath house.

Scouting and Group Rental Rates

Tent Camping Rate:
$1.50 per person per night
Includes use of outdoor areas, Pavailion, boats, docks, playground (if age appropriate), and sports equipment.
Includes restroom access at bath house.
Firewood may be purchased from Camp Managers.

Tent Camping and Whole Camp Facilities Rate:
$5.00 per person per night (minimum of 20 people)
Includes use of the Porch, Breezeway, Chapel, Kitchen, Dining Hall, Pavilion, boats, docks, playground (if age appropriate), and sports equipment.
Includes restroom access at bath house
Firewood may be purchased from Camp Managers.
